
Wong Xiao Xuan is a film producer born and based in Singapore. Her work focuses on dialogue with her own identity as a queer person and women’s stories, articulating stifled narratives.
She graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Film. Her thesis short Today’s Sunlight Falls Weakly On You (2023), premiered in competition at the 2023 Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist and was awarded the Best Short Film, Best Director and Best Cinematography under the Open Youth category at the Singapore Youth Film Festival 2024.
She worked at the Singapore International Film Festival as the Transport Coordinator in 2023 and the Festival Lounge Coordinator in 2024. She is co-producing a debut drama feature The Old Man & His Car by Michael Kam (in post-production) and a drama short Summer On Its Deathbed by Kyaw Shoon Le Yee (in post-production).
She developed her creative producing skills at the Busan Asian Film School’s 2024 International Film Business Academy Program, Rotterdam Lab 2025, and is part of the New Asian Producers Network (Napnet) steering committee as the Vice President of 2025.
